The Immersium Engine was a complex, interdisciplinary project demonstrating the powerful synergy of Music, STEAM, Art, and Drama. Using the IB framework, students were challenged to craft surreal, modular structures and forge original musical instruments. The resulting hour-long, unbroken performance featured cycles of original music, enhanced by strange, generative visuals. Students were entirely responsible for maintaining and performing on their curious creations. The final experience was a sensory, immersive installation - a significant highlight of our annual Innovation Evening that showcased high levels of student creativity, collaboration, and technical engagement.
